Feather-white and full of light meeting bold, black contemporary form on Karewa Parade

“Falcon Build’s quality of workmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. They have a culture of going above and beyond at all times.”

Marylyn Eliott

“The journey was a positive and supportive experience.”

Marylyn Elliott, Client

Floating on the waterfront, this stunning beachfront bach appears to hover just above the dunes it embraces.

The original bach has been lovingly restored, now seamlessly connected to a striking modern extension designed by architect Jon McAlpine. A fully glazed breezeway links the old and new — feather-white and full of light meeting bold, black contemporary form. The yin and the yang.

For the client, the result exceeded even her highest hopes for the site. It’s an entertainer’s dream — a place where extended family gather with ease, flowing from spacious, open-plan living areas to an expansive deck that spills effortlessly onto the sand. A true beachfront sanctuary where memories are made.
